i have this image of a very happy girl.
and well, don't get me wrong, i am happy.
but there are times when i get hit by the sadness i push away
by the regrets i can never forget
i spent last night crying
listening to the song that played at my dad's funeral again and again
saying sorry in my mind, telling him i wish he hadn't gone
i feel better now
i bottled up the hurt away
living and loving it can hurt like hell
it's not easy
nothing in life ever is
but with the right people it can all be hella worth it
